Construction Manager Announcement

Posted on Feb 27 2018

As we continue to work behind the scenes on the design of our new corporate head office we’re moving forward with the next step in the Conexus Building Communities project with the hiring of a construction manager.

Conexus is pleased to welcome PCL Construction Management Inc. to the fold. The selection was made after a public RFP process, which resulted in a number of interested proponents.  “PCL is a well-known international company who has always maintained a strong local presence with its Saskatchewan roots,” says Eric Dillon, Conexus CEO. “Conexus has worked with PCL on past projects and we look forward to continuing the relationship with our Conexus Building Communities project,” adds Dillon.

“PCL is truly excited to be a part of the Building Communities project,” says Paul Knowles, PCL Regina’s District Manager. “Like Conexus, we are a proud member of this community and look forward to partnering with the project team to build this innovative facility."

PCL will get started right away with preconstruction activities including scheduling, budgeting, logistics planning and supporting design development. Extensive planning is crucial at this point in the project to enable effective execution of construction activities upon mobilization to site in the coming months.

The Conexus Building Communities project will see the development of an office for Conexus corporate services staff, as well as a business incubator, constructed on the University of Regina’s College Avenue Campus west of Darke Hall. The project is made possible through a partnership with the University of Regina.
