In the coming weeks, College Avenue traffic will be restricted to one lane each way, lasting approximately 2 months to allow continued work on the Wascana Drive realignment and intersection work to be completed at College Avenue and Lorne Street. The work includes median construction, sewer work and installation of signal lights, all which is being funded by the University of Regina and Conexus Credit Union as part of the Conexus Building Communities project.
We do understand the traffic restrictions may cause delays, and encourage you to give yourself a few extra minutes when travelling via this route. The road realignment and addition of signalled lights at the College Avenue and Lorne Street intersection will make it much safer for pedestrians and create a welcoming gateway into the park.
